Mr. Ellison has overseen the establishment and growth of Veritas Preparatory Academy since shortly after its incorporation in 2002. He is also a member of the Veritas faculty, having taught junior Humane Letters in 2006-7. He has also taught Latin III from 2008 to 2010.
He joined the teaching staff of Tempe Preparatory Academy in 1997, and taught Latin, German, Poetry, Drama, and 10th, 11th, and 12th grade Humane Letters during his six-year career there. He also served as Master Teacher of Writing, Fine Arts, and Humane Letters before leaving that school to found Veritas.
He currently serves the Great Hearts Preparatory Academies as Senior Headmaster, and has assisted in the training of new headmasters and the hiring of new faculty for the Great Hearts Academies. His bachelor's degree is in Humanities, International Economics, and German from Valparaiso University.
Ms. Terry joined the Veritas faculty in 2003 after teaching Freshman Composition and Modern Fiction at Paradise Valley Community College. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature and a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Creative Writing/Poetry both from Arizona State University. In addition to her administrative duties, she has taught Poetry I and II, as well as 8th grade Literature and Composition.

Ms. Coughlon joined the Veritas faculty in 2010 after teaching 6th and 7th grade Literature and Composition at Scottsdale Preparatory Academy; she also previously served as the head coach of the Veritas Speech & Debate team and president of the Veritas Parent Organization. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion, specializing in Western Theology and Social Ethics, from the University of Iowa. In addition to her administrative duties, she also teaches 6th grade Literature and Composition and is the parent of two current Veritas students and a Veritas graduate.
Mr. Crowe joined the Veritas faculty in 2007 after previously teaching American History in Paradise Valley and Philosophy and Religion Courses at Arizona State University. A lifelong Phoenix resident, he holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Arizona State University in American Religious History. In addition to his administrative duties, Mr. Crowe has taught 10th and 11th grade Humane Letters.

Mrs. Mohwinkel came to Veritas in October, 2007. Her capacity to excel in this position stems from working as the Office Manager of a busy, full service, four-doctor veterinary surgical center.

Mrs. Wunch has assisted the school office since before the start of Veritas in 2002. She has a bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University, had a 15 year-career in dental hygiene, and was an active volunteer in the Art Masterpiece Program and the school library at Saint Theresa School. She is the parent of one of Veritas' first graduates.
